Action!

Cannon is constant motion. Whether he's trying to climb things (everything!) or "helping" with dinner by stirring, shaking things up in the refrigerator, or throwing the potatoes I'm peeling off the deck (that helps make them tender...), he is perpetually in motion. He loves to mimic and seems to always be making funny facial expressions--I wish I could capture them on film! He also "talks" constantly.... no real words yet, but it won't be too long.

Many of these photos were taken on a trip to Montana. Timothy guided a trip in Yellowstone, and Cannon and I got to hang out with old friends. We stayed at the farm where my good friend Katey lives in a one-room cabin. It made nap and bedtime a little challenging, but we survived.

This was the prime sheep-watching spot. Cannon loves sheep, whether here on Katey's farm or on the farm we go to every Monday at home (where the lamb's name is "O-baaaah-ma").

Cannon often took naps on the deck, complete with makeshift bug protectors (for the 5 bugs that are flying around Montana).

Back at home, his climbing skills are getting really good (a little too good!).

And who doesn't love a little playtime in the kitchen cupboard?

Or with the recycling?!
Uh, yeah, we let it overflow a little and Cannon was excited to discover it. I told you he loves to mimic!
