Goodbye, Little Subaru

My mom rolled the car the other day! It was totalled, but the two of us miraculously came out without a scratch. It was awesome.

Skiing in Crested Butte

We went to Crested Butte, CO to ski in mid-December. (I'm four months old in the tummy in some of these photos). There was so much snow--something like 50 inches in 48 hours (on top of what they already had). It was epic, as they say. We went with our friends Judith and Brice and met up with my nanny, Matt, while we were there. My dad is a little concerned because Mom's not a great skier and he's worried that I'll be born with improper ski technique already in my muscle memory.

Baby's First Backpacking Trip

When I had only been in mom's tummy for a month, she decided to go backpacking with my Aunt Megan, Uncle Matt, and Uncle John. They came to Montana for an epic adventure that involved snow, rain, sleet, and every other form of precipitation, along with cold, sunshine, spectacular views, and very tired bodies and minds. My aunt and uncles were exhausted because they're flatlanders and weren't used to the altitude. My mom was exhausted because she was trying to make me!
