Cannon and Hank
After 5 long days, they finally let us come home from the hospital. Cannon is a great big brother. He doesn't like to share attention, but he is super sweet and cute with Hank. He likes to put his face up close to Hank's, steals his pacifier so he can give it back, helps burp him (quite firmly), etc. He is a little like an elephant in a china shop, though--doesn't realize that he's not the smallest one around anymore.

Cannon and his Mama have been doing work-trade on a nearby farm every Monday since May. It's been awesome! We were a little sad that this past Monday was our last. He gets to play, "drive" the tractor and the delivery truck, watch the chickens, bunnies, goats, cows, and pigs, etc. and we come home with a huge box of produce each week--so much that we couldn't eat it all and have a freezer that is stocked for winter!

But Cannon is getting so big! We say that to one another everyday. And he's so stinkin' smart! We are amazed by him.

The carrots in our farm share this week were so pretty (and tasty) that I wanted to take a picture. I tried to get Cannon to pose with them, but he was not into it. If he were talking, I'm sure he would have said, "Get those carrots off my rocket!"
